Aïda Riddle is a New York City native, cat lover, and amorous purple girl. She is a Black Femme creative writer and musician hoping to blur the lines of genre and present a world illustrative of our many different and intersecting identities. She runs MAXIMALIST Press, an imprint devoted to showcasing BIPOC and Queer voices, and the Relax Your Body radio show on KPISS.fm, centering on poetry and activism. Aïda has been published in Hysterical Mag, Maximum Rock N Roll, and La Voz magazine. Aïda graduated from Bard College in 2013 with a BA in Written Arts.
